Speaking at the inauguration of Dr. Sudath Dharmaratne as the 32nd President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Medical Administrators, he highlighted record budget allocations, primary healthcare development, AI integration, and sustainable waste management as key priorities.

He also underscored efforts to combat non-communicable diseases and improve elderly care.
