Srilanka, April 2 -- Milco Company has reduced prices of Highland yogurt and liquid milk products with immediate effect yesterday (1). Accordingly, a Highland yogurt which previously sold at Rs.80 will now be available at Rs.70, reflecting a Rs.10 decrease. Furthermore, the price of a 450ml shelf-stable liquid milk packet has dropped from Rs.225 to Rs.200.
The 450ml liquid milk packet, which was Rs.200, is now priced at Rs.170. Additionally, the cost of the 900ml liquid milk packet has been reduced from Rs.440 to Rs.380.
Milco Chairman Hemajiva Gotabhaya confirmed that distribution of these products at the new prices commenced from yesterday. Consumers are anticipated to find them in the market at the updated rates within the coming days....
