Sri Lanka, May 19 -- The 22nd anniversary of the Meth Saviya organisation and the Maithri Bhooshana felicitation ceremony was held at the auditorium of the Colombo University recently.
The Meth Saviya is a leading Buddhist organization in the island with 8,000 members.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Incumbent of the Thissamaharama Rajamaha Viharaya, the Chief Sanghanayaka of the Hambantota area, Ven. Dr. Devalegama Dhammasena Thera.
