Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- Chairman of the Export Development Board (EDB) of Sri Lanka Mangala Wijesinghe said that the commencement of entering into the export market of steel is considered a beginning of a long lasting journey in the export industry.
He made this statement while participating in a ceremony to export steel to the Canadian construction market under the MELWA brand yesterday at the Colombo Ports premises. With the commencement of steel exports to the world market, Sri Lanka was able to make a name for itself in the steel export sector yesterday.
