Srilanka, March 25 -- A meeting was held yesterday (24) at the Isurupaya Education Ministry to discuss measures for the timely disbursement of the Mahapola Scholarship.

The discussion, chaired by Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Madura Seneviratne, focused on minimizing delays for first-year students receiving the scholarship for 2025, as well as ensuring prompt payments for students in subsequent years.

In addition, the Deputy Minister emphasized the need for a long-term modernization of the computerized data system for managing Mahapola scholarship beneficiaries.
