The Attorney General informed the Court of Appeal yesterday that the authorities, along with relevant stakeholders, would take the necessary measures to reduce air pollution across the country, including in the Jaffna District.
The Attorney General made these remarks, when the writ petition filed by Dr. Umasugi Nadarajah, a medical practitioner, was taken up before a Court of Appeal two-judge Bench comprising (Acting President) Justice Mohammed Laffar and Justice K.M.S. Dissanayake.
