Sri Lanka, March 5 -- Colombo High Court Judge Adithya Patabendige yesterday (4) fixed March 6 for the trial of former Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Kulasiri Udugampola, for allegedly revealing confidential information regarding Army Intelligence Officers (AIO).
The former ASP had raided a AIO safe house at Athurugiriya Millennium City Housing Scheme on January 2, 2002 and published information regarding AIOs and their covert operations.The Attorney General had filed an indictment against the former ASP for violating the Official Secrets Act.
