Sri Lanka, Dec. 5 -- A man from Panadura has been arrested by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption for preparing forged documents, including fake identity cards.

The suspect, a resident of Gorakapola, Panadura, was taken into custody for violating Section 124 of the Anti-Corruption Act, No. 09 of 2023.

The arrest follows an investigation launched based on a complaint received by the Commission.
