Sri Lanka, April 3 -- The Malwathu Asgiri Maha Viharas and the Sri Dalada Maligawa yesterday made a donation of Rs.15 million for the people of Myanmar who were affected by the earthquake.

The donation was handed over to the Myanmar Ambassador in Colombo Daw Marlar Than Htaik at the Sri Dalada Maligawa premises by Mahanayake of Asgiriya Chapter Most Ven. Warakagoda Gnanarathana Thera. Anunayake Theras of Malwathu and Asgiriya Chapters were also present. Picture by Asela Kuruluwansa
