Sri Lanka, Nov. 7 -- Former President Maithripala Sirisena appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) today (07) to record a statement regarding an ongoing inquiry.

According to reports, the former President was summoned in connection with the investigation into the leasing of a building in Rajagiriya for the Ministry of Agriculture.

The Commission is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the rental agreement and related transactions.
