Sri Lanka, March 29 -- The Maligakanda Magistrate's Court yesterday (28) ordered former President Maithripala Sirisena to appear in court on April 4 and give a statement regarding a statement he made regarding the Easter Sunday attacks.

This order was issued by the court under Section 120 of the Code of Criminal Procedure after taking a request made by the Criminal Investigation Department into consideration.
