Srilanka, June 2 -- Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardena is set to retire at the end of June and will assume a key international role thereafter.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake announced that Siriwardena will be appointed as the Alternate Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), where he will represent a group of seven countries, including Sri Lanka.
Speaking at a recent event, President Dissanayake acknowledged Siriwardena's critical role in shaping Sri Lanka's economic recovery and reform agenda.
