Srilanka, Feb. 26 -- Swimming powerhouse Mahamaya Girls College Kandy clinched the 3km championship title and an individual bronze medal at the inaugural Annual Port City Open Water Swimming Championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU), concluded on Sunday at the scenic Beach Park in Port City Colombo.
The 12-member Under-15 swimming team, led by captain Sathushmi Divyanjali and vice-captain Rohansi de Silva, performed exceptionally well, securing the gold medal in the fiercely competitive 3km team event. Their remarkable achievement added another chapter to the rich history of Mahamaya Girls College in the aquatic sport.
