Srilanka, March 8 -- The Hambantota Magistrate ordered the Angunakolapelessa Prison Superintendent to present a psychiatrists' report on a man who exhibited disruptive behaviour at the Hambantota Divisional Secretariat.

Following his arrest and presentation before the Court, Hambantota Magistrate and Additional District Judge Oshadha Migara Maha Arachchi rejected the suspect's bail application and ordered his remand until March 19.

The individual in question has been identified as 50-year-old Hewa Walimuni Chaminda Pradeep, a retired Commando Regiment soldier who lives in Keliapura, Hambantota.
