Srilanka, March 6 -- An in-depth discussion took place regarding a sustainable long-term strategy for the energy sector between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and officials of the Ceylon Electricity Board was held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (5). The President's attention was drawn to the maintenance of uninterrupted power supply and the current and future prospects of the energy sector.
Power Minister Kumara Jayakody, Power Ministry Secretary Prof.Udayanga Hemapala, Finance Ministry Secretary Mahinda Siriwardana, Ceylon Electricity Board Chairman Dr.Thilak Siyambalapitiya and CEB officials were present.
