Sri Lanka, Feb. 15 -- Ahimsa Wickrematunge, the daughter of the slain journalist Lasantha Wickrematunge, yesterday accused the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and its President, Anura Meddegoda, for what she termed hypocrisy and double standards in their defence of the Attorney General regarding alleged failure in justice.
She condemned the BASL president for supporting the Attorney General, who was compelled to retract his decision to release key suspects involved in the assassination of Lasantha Wickrematunge.
