Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- A large stone with a blue and white glow has emerged from a landslide site in Galaha, Kandy.

A large number of people thronged the area yesterday at a landslide site near the Sri Muthumari Amman Kovil in Gallantenna, Galaha.South Asians & Diaspora

The Police have taken steps to provide security to the place on the assumption that the stone could be valuable. Local residents say that this stone has come from the upper part of Gallantenna to the lower part with the landslide that occurred during Cyclone Ditwah. A team of officials from the Gem and Jewellery Authority examined this stone yesterday (19) afternoon.
