Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- The Sri Lanka World Para athletic team clinched two bronze medals and all athletes did their best at this highly competed world para athletic championship which ended in New Delhi Javahalal Nehru Stadium. Sri Lanka team wil return home today after a successful tour and National Paralympic Committee has made arrangements to give them a grand welcome ceremony at the Katunayake Air Port.
Nuwan Indika Gamage competed in T44 category won the first bronze medal from the long jump event with a leap of 6.46m which was his seasonal best achievement to take bronze.
