Srilanka, June 4 -- The individual suspected of being the gunman in the high-profile murder of Sanjeewa Kumara, also known as Ganemulle Sanjeewa, was presented at an identification parade today (June 4) before the Colombo Magistrate's Court.
Despite tight security, two witnesses brought for the identification failed to recognize the suspect.
The accused, currently held at Boossa Prison, was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Tanuja Lakmali under heavy security.
The Magistrate ordered the suspect to be further remanded until June 6 and instructed that he be presented before the court on that date via Skype.
