Opener Usman Khawaja smashed a career-best 232, while stand-in skipper Steve Smith (141) and debutant Josh Inglis (102) hit centuries as Australia posted a massive first-innings total of 654/6 declared. Sri Lanka struggled in reply, reaching 44/3 before rain halted play with seven overs remaining on day two of the first Test at Galle International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
