Sri Lanka, March 4 -- The Seventy eight year old Kandy Public Services Club will be having their Annual General Meeting on March 31at their club house. This club gives a big hand to their members, and members can be seen playing the cue sport, Carrom, Bridge one time they were famous for Table Tennis, this club keeps their members happy with sports facilities. This club was inaugurated by then Government Agent late Sir Richard Aluwihare in 1946.
This is the only Club in Kandy for the recreation of the Government. Servants. Other than the sports in the club they organize a Cricket Tournament for the Government Departments in the Central Province for the Sir Richard Aluwihare Memorial Trophy Tournament.
