SRILANKA, Dec. 4 -- The Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development announced today that the Kandy-Colombo main road (A1), which had been closed due to damage caused by the recent adverse weather, has now been reopened for public use.
According to the Ministry, the road will remain open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., allowing motorists to resume travel between the two major cities following several days of disruption.
