Sri Lanka, Feb. 16 -- When the meeting of the Kandy District Coordinating Committee started on Wednesday (14) at the Kandy District Secretariat Auditorium with the participation of Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, the Co-Chairman of the Coordinating Committee, MP Gunathilaka Rajapaksa informed journalists to leave the hall if they were present.
The former chairman of the coordination committee, MP Wasantha Yapa Bandara protested the expulsion of journalists from the hall and said that it is an anti-democratic act.
