Sri Lanka, March 18 -- Many would agree with State Minister for Finance Eran Wickramaratne that politicians should desist from providing jobs to youth. Speaking during the Budget Committee State debate in Parliament on Friday Wickramaratne said that youth come to politicians seeking jobs. This was a situation to be ashamed of, he said, because, more often than not, these youth seeking jobs from the politicians were more qualified than the latter. Instead he said they need to develop the quality of education and the children should be taught how to think and not what to think.
