Sri Lanka, July 31 -- Sri Lanka's amateur champion and Faldo champion, Jevahn Sathasivam, is set to take the biggest swing of his amateur career today (Thursday, July 31), when he tees off at the Final Qualifier for the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship at the Scarlet Course, Ohio State University, in the United States.
The 17-year-old student of Asian International School, was crowned Sri Lanka's 2024 National Amateur Champion and also won the coveted Faldo Series Sri Lanka Championship in the same year.
Jevahn earned his place in this highly competitive final qualifier through his national title. Now, he will face a world-class field of over 73 top amateur players, with only the top 10 finishers earning a ticket to the championship final...
