Sri Lanka, Oct. 29 -- Sri Lanka player Janidu Dilshan has been reappointed as captain of CH and FC for the 2025/2026 rugby season, marking his second successive year leading the historic Gymkhana Club.
Dilshan, a utility player who can play either as a centre, wing or full back, is one of Sri Lanka's most consistent performers in both the 15-a-side and Sevens national teams. A product of Royal College Colombo, he represented the school from 2016 to 2018, where he famously scored a try in the very first minute of the 2017 Bradby Shield encounter at the Royal Sports Complex.
