Sri Lanka, Aug. 29 -- Janeesh Weerasinghe and Sithara Lorance emerged as the star performers of the Sri Lanka Junior Golf Ranking Tournament, clinching the Overall Boys' and Girls' Winner titles at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club yesterday.

Janeesh was in complete control from start to finish, producing identical rounds of 80 and 80 to post a winning total of 160 and secure the boys' crown. Behind him, Hiruka Kanishka stayed steady with rounds of 85 and 85 for 170 to take second place, while Ayaan Gunasekera fought hard with 98 and 89 to finish third on 187. Lithum Silva followed in fourth place with 190, while Yogaraja Abinesh completed the top five with 218.
