Sri Lanka, Dec. 23 -- A few showers are expected in parts of the Uva and Eastern provinces, as well as in the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Polonnaruwa and Hambantota districts.

Showers or thundershowers may also occur at a few locations in the Ratnapura, Galle, Matara and Kalutara districts after 2.00 p.m.
