Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- Five suspects, including Ishara Sewwandi, identified as the mastermind behind the shooting death of Ganemulla Sanjeewa at the Aluthkade court complex, are scheduled to be brought back to Sri Lanka this evening (15) after being arrested in Nepal.

Ishara Sewwandi was apprehended on the night of the 13th, nearly eight months after the murder, during a special operation conducted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Western Province North Crime Division, in collaboration with Nepalese security forces.

A police team led by Assistant Superintendent of Police Rohan Olugala, Director of the Western Province North Crime Division, traveled to Nepal to facilitate the arrest.
