Sri Lanka, June 21 -- Sri Lanka, as a sovereign nation, must raise its voice to stop the ongoing war between Iran and Israel and stand firmly for global peace and justice, particularly by supporting the establishment of Palestine as a sovereign state, Leader of the House and Transport, Highways, Ports and Civil Aviation Minister Bimal Ratnayake said addressing Parliament yesterday.

The Minister emphasised that Sri Lanka should not side with warmongers and must take a principled stance in the face of international conflicts.
