Srilanka, Feb. 1 -- Sri Lanka's Ishadi Amanda has achieved a remarkable milestone by being named First Runner-Up at the 40th Mrs. World pageant, which took place in Las Vegas, USA.

Amanda, who earned the title of Mrs. Sri Lanka World during the national finals in Colombo last month, represented her country was among the two contestants from Sri Lanka, with Nishi Ranathunga, a dual citizen of Sri Lanka and New Zealand, representing New Zealand in the competition.
