Srilanka, May 1 -- An inter-cultural event aimed at fostering friendship between Northern and Southern Sri Lankan Students was held on Tuesday (April 29) at St. Henry's College, Ilavalai.
The event was organised under the guidance of the commissioner general of rehabilitation, Major General Dharshana Hettiarrachchi, with the aim of building harmony and mutual understanding among students from the North and South.
Students from Ampegama Sri Nandasara National College from Galle were warmly welcomed by the students of St. Henry's College with a vibrant marching band. The programme featured cultural performances by students from both schools, showcasing the rich traditions of the Tamil and Sinhalese communities.
