Sri Lanka, March 5 -- An injunction issued against Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader Sajith Premadasa and three other party members, preventing them from suspending the party membership of SJB Chairman Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, was extended until March 19, by the Colombo District Court.

The petition was taken up before Colombo Chief District Judge Sandun Vithana.

On a previous occasion, after considering a petition filed by Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, Colombo Chief District Judge Vithana yesterday issued a restraining order against SJB leader Sajith Premadasa, its General Secretary Ranjith Maddumabandara, National Organizer Tissa Attanayake and Treasurer Harsha De Silva.
