Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- Openers Smriti Mandana (45) and Shafali Verma (87) added remarkable 104 runs stand as India women scored 298 for 7 wickets in 50 overs in their women's World Cup final against South Africa played at Navi Mumbai yesterday.
The experienced left hander Mandhana with 21-year-old right hander Verma added 64 runs in the power play while Mandhana was unfortunately out 5 runs away her well deserved half century.
