Sri Lanka, March 25 -- The Indian High Commission in Colombo organised a Buddhist Exhibition at the Sri Sambodhi Maha Vihara Temple on the occasion of Medin Poya yesterday.

The exhibition showcases India's rich Buddhist heritage with a series of photographs depicting significant episodes from the life of the Buddha and some of the prominent Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India.

It underlines our deep cultural connect and shared heritage and history. It also promotes our shared objective of advancing our people-to-people ties to strengthen our age-old bonds of friendship and cooperation.
