Srilanka, March 14 -- Responding to an urgent request from Sri Lanka, the Indian Government gifted 50,000 ampoules of Furosemide injection 20mg/2ml to cater to its shortage in Sri Lankan hospitals in the immediate term.The consignment was today handed over by the Indian High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka Santosh Jha to the Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa at an event held at the Ministry.Health Ministry Secretary Dr.Anil Jasinghe, Medical Supply Division Director Dr. Dedunu Dias and other senior officials attended the event.
