Sri Lanka, Dec. 10 -- Dr. Waruna Gunatilleke, a specialist in physical diseases at Colombo National Hospital, emphasized the importance of continuing essential medications for conditions such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes amid the ongoing disaster situation.

He noted that in the panic caused by the disaster and the rush for medicines, some individuals may miss out on receiving their necessary treatments.

Residents, including those in Suraksha camps and villages, are advised to inform local field staff or visit the nearest government hospital to ensure uninterrupted access to their medications.
