Srilanka, May 20 -- Traffic congestion has been reported on several main roads leading into Nuwara Eliya due to heavy fog affecting visibility.

According to reports, dense fog is currently observed along the Hatton-Nuwara Eliya road from Nanuoya to Nuwara Eliya, the Nuwara Eliya-Badulla road up to Haggala, and the Nuwara Eliya-Gampola road up to Bambarakele.

The Nuwara Eliya Police have urged motorists to exercise caution, drive slowly, and keep headlights on when navigating these routes, as visibility can drop suddenly and significantly during periods of fog.
