Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- The Colombo High Court has ordered a re-hearing of the case filed by the Bribery Commission against former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, his wife, three daughters, and son-in-law for allegedly acquiring assets worth over Rs. 97 million illegally. The re-hearing is scheduled for October 1.
The matter was called before Colombo High Court Judge Lanka Jayaratne today. During the proceedings, the Bribery Commission submitted several documents requested by the defense in open court.
The court instructed the defendants to inform the court of any additional documents they may require within two weeks from today.
