Sri Lanka, Oct. 31 -- Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasuriya arrived in Parliament this morning (31) to discuss the security arrangements for Members of Parliament.

The move follows a request from the opposition to Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne to summon the IGP for a briefing on MP security.

The special discussion is currently underway in Parliament under the chairmanship of the Speaker.
