Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- Sampath Manamperi, who has been wanted for arrest, reportedly surrendered to the Walasmulla Magistrate's Court today (17).

Manamperi is wanted in connection with the discovery of two containers of chemicals suspected of being used to manufacture the drug 'Ice' in the Middeniya area.

According to his lawyer, Manamperi had expressed his willingness to surrender to the court during proceedings at the Court of Appeal on the 15th.

The case remains under investigation, and further legal proceedings are expected.
