Sri Lanka, Feb. 21 -- The Health Ministry's final position on the proposals of the Health Trade Union Alliance (HTUA) is scheduled to be presented to the committee appointed to look into the proposals next Wednesday (28).

The special committee appointed to consider the proposals of the HTUA met yesterday under the patronage of Health Secretary Dr. Palith Mahipala and the fresh proposals forwarded by the HTUA have been discussed at length at this occasion, Health Ministry Spokesman said.

The committee was appointed by the Minister following a request made by the Health Trade Unions to make relevant suggestions and recommendations with regard to their demands.
