Srilanka, March 17 -- National People's Power (NPP) MP Ambika Samuel informed the Parliament that the foundation stone for 50 houses was laid in the Kabaragala area to provide relief to people affected by natural disasters on Saturday (15).
She informed the House that the current Government has started this project within a very short time period that the previous Governments failed to do. The MP made this statement on Friday while addressing the 2025 Committee stage Budget debate on the expenditure heads of the Plantations and Community Infrastructure Ministry.
