Sri Lanka, Jan. 23 -- Hambantota International Port (HIP) has launched its Automated Gate Pass Management System (AGPMS), becoming the first port in Sri Lanka to introduce a fully automated, QR-code-based, paperless gate pass solution marking a major step forward in digital transformation, strengthening efficiency, security, and access control across port operations.

AGPMS replaces the traditional manual gate pass process with a paperless, QR-based access control system.
