Sri Lanka, Feb. 23 -- Sri Lanka's girls tennis team, with Ivanka Samarasinghe and Dinara de Silva, moved into the semifinals after defeating Malaysia. However, the boys' team, including Ganuka Fernando and Lithum Jayabandu, was defeated by Jordan in the quarterfinals of the Billie Jean Cup Junior/Junior Davis Cup Asia Oceania Pre-qualifying Tennis Tournament. The tournament is organized by the Sri Lanka Tennis Association and overseen by the International Tennis Federation. It took place at SLTA courts in Colombo yesterday.
