Srilanka, March 17 -- The Association of Health Professionals has confirmed that it will proceed with a 24-hour strike starting tomorrow (18) at 7:00 AM, as previously planned.

The decision comes after failed discussions between the federation's representatives and officials from the Ministry of Finance.

Speaking to the media following the meeting, Federation President Ravi Kumudesh announced the strike, citing the government's inability to address their concerns.
