Srilanka, March 5 -- As part of its people-oriented agenda, the current government aims to ensure that all citizens over 40 undergo regular medical check-ups within the next five years. This initiative is a key part of the national policy, focusing on early disease detection and treatment. Deputy Minister of Health and Mass Media, Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni, emphasized that the "Suwa Udana" mobile health clinic program serves as a short-term solution within this long-term strategy.
Dr. Wijemuni made these remarks while inaugurating the fifth Suwa Udana mobile health clinic at Ranawana Purana Temple in Pilimathalawa, Kandy District.
