Srilanka, Nov. 5 -- Hayleys Group emerged MCA Super Premier league T-20 Champions when they recorded a thrilling five run win over CDB in their final played at CCC grounds under light on Sunday. Chasing a target of128, CDB opener Shevon Daniel was the only successful batsman scoring 44 ball 48 with 4 fours and a six while Hayleys Group two spinners Ramesh Mendis and Ravindu Fernando bowled tidy spells to take 3 wickets each and restricted Hayleys Group to 122 all out in 19.5 overs. Hayleys Group gave a superb fighting display to gain this championship and they were also the runners up last week in the knock out tournament when they lost to Maliban Biscuits in the final.
