Sri Lanka, Jan. 2 -- Former Minister Harin Fernando appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) to record a statement in relation to an ongoing investigation yesterday (1).
The investigation concerns the leasing of a building in the Rajagiriya area for the functioning of the Agriculture Ministry of during the tenure of the previous Government. Fernando presented himself before the Commission in response to an official summons issued as part of the inquiry.
According to sources, the former Minister spent nearly two and a half hours at the Commission, after which he left upon completing the recording of his statement.
