Sri Lanka, June 6 -- Another suspect, arrested and remanded in connection with the shooting at the vehicle of former National Lotteries Board Director Thusitha Halloluwa, has provided a confidential statement before the Colombo Magistrate's Court today (June 6).

The statement was recorded before Colombo Additional Magistrate Pasan Amarasena.

The suspect, identified as Mohamed Paris, is currently in remand custody over the incident. According to reports, he voluntarily gave the confidential statement during court proceedings.

Investigations into the incident are being carried out by the Colombo Crimes Division. The court has issued orders allowing investigators to obtain the bank account details and phone analysis reports of the suspect...
